Welcome to the last week of May.  We have some special things planned for the end of the year.

Second Grade students take their Year end NWEA exam the first week of June.  There is nothing to do to prepare, except to encourage your child to relax, eat a big breakfast and do their best.

The year end Picnic is scheduled for all day on June 19th.

May 15th, 2015

May 18 to 22

Last week Ms. Sheridan and Ms. Clement assigned a letter to a favorite author as the reading homework assignment.  Only 7 children from Ms. Sheridan’s class turned this in on time.  18 students in Ms. Clements class turn the work in. Parents, please be clear these assignments are graded and a missing assignment is the same as an F in the gradebook.  Your children still need your help in keeping track of deadlines and assignments in the second grade.  A few students did not bring in any research project for this marking period.  Again, we must stress the importance of completing assignments on time and in the quality we have expected all year.

We have many changes in our schedule this week.

  • Monday Assembly
  • Tuesday 212 to Trailside Museum
  • Wednesday 214 to Trailside Museum
  • Thursday 215 to Trailside Museum
  • Friday All of us attend the Spanish Dance Performance
  • School Festival is scheduled for the 21st

Please remember that we are always looking for contributions to our Warrior store (Oriental Trading and Brody’s are good places for items)

Please also, consider contributing a snack.
